Consumers can now easily monitor their electricity and water consumption by scanning their meter display and estimate their savings with bill forecasts. Additionally, they can share their meter readings as proof with the respective utility companies at any time.

Bharat Self Meter Reading (Bharat SMR) is a component of Bharat Smart Services.

The BharatSMR platform allows utilities to empower their customers to submit their meter readings via their smartphones in a secure manner. By simply scanning their meter display and submitting the reading within seconds, consumers can prevent delays or inaccuracies in billing.
